We have prizes donated by local businesses and other people.  We have a trail marked with flags to show the riders where to go.  Riders check in when they get there, buy their hands then pull chips with numbers on them out of a bag.  You are going for the highest number total and the lowest number total.  Usually you have 3 check points along the way where you draw again.  Then final draw at check in, 5 all total.  The cards are added up and then we announce them in order until we run out of prizes, high, low, high, low, etc. 

 High hand usually wins $100 and low hand usually wins $50 for first place! 

We put on Annual poker rides located at our rodeo ground off of Hwy 520 just out of Darrington, Washington.  We always have a large selection of prizes and have a wonderful trail with good footing and pretty views.  We are currently having one per year and hope to have more soon.  This is a new thing for us and has been well received.  We do a high and low hand with cash prizes, then a variety of prizes for our other places.  It is open to all ages, so come join us and have fun.
